About Us

The Bohemia Track Club, founded in 1976, is the largest and most active running club on the south shore of Suffolk County, Long Island, and offers a variety of activities to both the recreational and competitive runner. You don't have to be a competitive runner to be a member of the BTC. We welcome all runners and "joggers" of all ages and abilities. The only requirement is that you be involved with running in some aspect and want to connect with others with the same interests.

The red, white and blue Bohemia Track Club shirts can be seen far and wide. Many of our members can be seen in the front of the pack, others can be seen in the middle of the pack running their hearts out or just enjoy the experience. Still others are in the back huffing and puffing, laughing and wondering why they are there. Our members vary in age from the 20 somethings to the 70 somethings. Regardless, Bohemia members support each other. The important thing is that we enjoy the running experience. So, if you see one of our shirts, or our banner come say hello!

Club meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 PM. There is a brief business meeting that is followed by a guest speaker. The meetings are held at the Bohemia Recreation Center on Ruzicka Way which is off of Smithtown Avenue, one block north of Church Street in Bohemia. Print out the Directions to the Bohemia Recreation Center for greater convenience.

Just a reminder...the BTC has a workout at the Connetquot HS track on Wednesdays.  People get to the track at 6:15PM to warm up and stretch, followed by a suggested track workout for different levels.  Walkers are also welcomed.  Hope to see you there.

Important ...no Cookie Run this year...

Due to circumstances beyond our control we were just informed that the  school we have our race at will not be available this year.
Most of the schools in the brentwood district are under major  construction... We have tried to find a suitable location but nothing is available at this time.
After 26 years this is a hard decision to make...but next year we will be back bigger and better than ever.
